I am someone who rarely changes phones, partly due to usage habits and partly because the phone models on the market don’t appeal to me enough. But for some cosmic reason, the OPPO Find N3 Flip unexpectedly captivated me from the first glance. It made me want to own and experience it.
The OPPO Find N3 Flip captured my attention from the first look with its stylish folding design. After nearly a month of practical use, I realized that the OPPO Find N3 Flip is not just a beautiful phone on the outside; it also boasts impressive performance, an excellent camera, and a combination of factors that make it a leading foldable phone. Below is my review of the OPPO Find N3 Flip after almost a month of use.
Classy Folding Design with Stealth Hinge:
Firstly, I adore the design of the OPPO Find N3 Flip – it’s youthful, elegant, and fashionable. Thanks to this design, holding the OPPO Find N3 Flip feels very comfortable. Especially when folded, the overall size of the phone is only 85.54 x 75.78 x 16.45 mm, making it compact enough to put in a pocket or bag conveniently.
The back of the phone is curved, providing a comfortable grip, combined with a frosted glass material that feels luxurious and is excellent at resisting fingerprint smudges. This year, OPPO is generous with users, including a very cute phone case with the device.
Previously, I wasn’t a big fan of foldable screen phones due to concerns about durability and screen creases. However, after a month of using the OPPO Find N3 Flip, my thoughts have completely changed. The OPPO Find N3 Flip is equipped with a high-quality multi-layer hinge that creates an almost invisible fold, with no gaps when folded. Opening the screen flat feels like using a regular smartphone, and there’s no “finger ripple” sensation experienced with some previous foldable phone models.
Another interesting feature on the OPPO Find N3 Flip that I like is the sound toggle button on the left side of the phone. This button has three main functions: sliding it up activates silent mode, in the middle activates vibration mode, and sliding it down activates full sound mode. This allows me to adjust the sound settings without having to go into the status bar.
Convenient Unfolded Screen, Supporting 80 Apps on the External Screen:
As a foldable phone, the most interesting feature comes from the external screen. I really like the OPPO Find N3 Flip because it supports and is compatible with over 80 apps on the external screen, including Google apps, making it very convenient.
“Small but mighty,” although the size of the external screen on the OPPO Find N3 Flip is not the largest in its segment, it is well-optimized. I can do a lot of tasks on this screen, such as reading news, scrolling through TikTok, Facebook, checking messages, Gmail, or even watching movies and booking a taxi directly on the external screen without having to open the main screen.
Let me share with you some of the features I frequently use on the external screen of the OPPO Find N3 Flip. First, this is where I usually display the clock, calendar, weather, notifications, etc. Next, taking selfies directly from the external screen is very convenient, and the image quality surpasses the front camera. To take a picture using the external screen on the OPPO Find N3 Flip, I just need to press the power button, swipe gently on the camera icon on the screen, and the selfie camera is ready.
For me, a 6.8-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate is more than sufficient for entertainment needs. Especially, the OPPO Find N3 Flip also has a maximum screen brightness of 1,600 nits, so I’m confident when using it outdoors in the sun. The display quality is vivid, sharp, and the touch response is delightful.
As I mentioned earlier, the OPPO Find N3 Flip is equipped with a high-quality multi-layer hinge, so the inner screen has almost no creases. Thanks to that, the OPPO Find N3 Flip has won over even the most picky users, including myself.
Powerful Configuration, Meeting Work and Entertainment Needs:
Regarding performance, users don’t have to worry much because the OPPO Find N3 Flip uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chip, one of the most powerful chips available. This chip consists of 8 cores and is combined with the ARM Immortalis-G71 graphics core. To verify the performance of the OPPO Find N3 Flip after 1 month of use, I used performance benchmarking software such as Geekbench 6, 3DMark, and PCMark. The specific conditions are as follows:
- Battery above 90% capacity
- No charging during benchmarking
- Three consecutive benchmarks, and the average score is taken
Here are the results I obtained:

Those are theoretical scores, but in real-world continuous use over the past month, the OPPO Find N3 Flip handled most tasks well. The device only got slightly warm and didn’t overheat while playing games continuously for 2-3 hours. This indicates that the cooling capability of the OPPO Find N3 Flip is excellent.
In addition, the OPPO Find N3 Flip is equipped with 12GB of RAM and 12GB of virtual RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking. The 256GB internal storage also meets my storage needs.
I have a habit of checking work emails while watching entertainment videos, and since I switched to the OPPO Find N3 Flip, it has been very convenient. I can open two apps simultaneously to take advantage of the smooth folding screen.
So, someone loyal to flat-screen phones has been “persuaded” to switch to a folding screen without even realizing it. This is not to mention the numerous attractive features on the camera, which I will discuss in the next section.
Leading Camera in the Foldable Phone Segment:
Why do I conclude that the camera of the OPPO Find N3 Flip leads the foldable phone segment? First, let’s review the specifications of the OPPO Find N3 Flip’s camera:

Regarding the camera, the OPPO Find N3 Flip is the first foldable phone to be equipped with three cameras simultaneously and the first Flip model to integrate a telephoto camera. This year, OPPO even collaborated with the Hasselblad brand to produce photos with a unique quality.
The OPPO Find N3 Flip is equipped with three lenses, including a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 114-degree field of view, and a 32MP 2X telephoto camera. With these specifications, the OPPO Find N3 Flip confidently surpasses all competitors in the same segment.
Firstly, the 50MP main camera, in well-lit conditions, provides photos with high detail, true colors, and good contrast. Even in low-light conditions, the image quality drops a bit, but I’m still quite satisfied.
For photos taken with the ultra-wide-angle camera on the OPPO Find N3 Flip, the images have even color tones, and, notably, there is no distortion in the areas on the sides. I took photos both against and with the light, and the image quality was quite good.
I tried zooming in at 3X and 5X, and the images were quite sharp, without breaking and very realistic. However, when zooming in at 10X or 20X, the images were quite noisy. However, since I rarely use this feature, it’s not a significant issue for me.
Not only the OPPO Find N3 Flip but also other OPPO phone models are highly praised for their portrait selfie capabilities. Of course, the OPPO Find N3 Flip does not disappoint. The background behind is erased very naturally, with gentle and pleasing colors to highlight the main subject of the photo.
If I want to take a selfie, I usually use the camera on the secondary screen because the images are more natural and smoother. As for the internal selfie camera, I only use it to take pictures or make video calls for banking transactions and facial recognition.
4,300mAh Battery, Convenient 44W Fast Charging:
For a foldable clamshell phone, a 4,300mAh battery is considered quite large. Moreover, the OPPO Find N3 Flip is equipped with SuperVOOC 44W fast charging technology. This is the specification that makes other competitors in the same segment “eat dust.”
Thanks to the 44W fast charging technology, each time I charge, it only takes about 1 hour to charge from 0-100% battery capacity. Even more, it only takes me 40-45 minutes to charge the battery every night because I usually charge when the battery is about 20% capacity.
With the light settings at medium level to avoid eye strain and save battery, the OPPO Find N3 Flip meets all usage needs from watching movies, YouTube, scrolling TikTok, Facebook, reading news, checking emails, or playing games from 7 am to 9 pm.
Even in more challenging conditions, the OPPO Find N3 Flip can last 6-7 hours. I tried playing Arena of Valor, watching YouTube, scrolling TikTok, Facebook, each task for about 1 hour, screen brightness at 100%, refresh rate at 120Hz, speaker volume at 70%, Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth and GPS always on. I started the experience when the battery was fully charged at 100%, and here are the results I obtained. In general, I am quite satisfied with the battery life of the OPPO Find N3 Flip.
Conclusion:
Overall, the OPPO Find N3 Flip is the best clamshell phone currently available. The phone has an attractive appearance, no screen creases (almost invisible folds), impressive performance, and a set of three beautiful cameras that allow you to unleash your creativity. Not to mention, the OPPO Find N3 Flip also has a massive battery and convenient 44W fast charging technology.
